Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and execute complete service, repair and overhaul of Omega timepieces, including mechanical calibres, quartz movements, chronographs and complications.
  • Disassemble, clean, lubricate, regulate and reassemble movements to manufacturer specifications; perform precise hand-setting and timing adjustments using professional timing machines.
  • Perform case and bracelet maintenance: polishing, refurbishment, gasket replacement and pressure/water-resistance testing to ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Document all service work accurately in the workshop management system, complete warranty paperwork and generate detailed service reports for clients and the central service network.
  • Maintain and calibrate specialised horological equipment; manage parts inventory and liaise with parts procurement to ensure traceability and compliance with brand procedures.
  • Collaborate with service centre colleagues and escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or manufacturer support as required to preserve brand quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Watchmaking diploma or certificate (WOSTEP, American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Formal training or manufacturer-specific certification in Omega or other high-end Swiss calibres is an advantage.
  • Strong manual dexterity, acute visual acuity and demonstrated proficiency with precision watchmaking tools and timing instruments.
  • Ability to follow strict service protocols, technical bulletins and quality-control checklists.

Watchmaking diploma or equivalent vocational qualification preferred (e.g., WOSTEP or recognised national apprenticeship).
