Swatch Group seeks a Trademarks and Designs Specialist in Bienne, Switzerland to manage IP portfolios across its luxury watch and jewelry brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and advise Swatch Group companies on trademark and design portfolio protection strategies
- File, renew, and conduct comprehensive availability searches for trademarks and designs across multiple jurisdictions
- Monitor newly registered trademarks and designs; conduct proof-of-use documentation and management
- Process, evaluate, and manage trademark opposition and infringement proceedings, collaborating with external counsel as required
- Track procedural deadlines and manage all administrative tasks related to portfolio management
- Instruct, coordinate, and manage relationships with external legal advisors on trademark matters
- Prepare portfolio reporting and legal compliance analyses for management and key stakeholders
- Execute administrative and procedural tasks essential to ongoing portfolio administration
Qualifications
- Specialist qualification or university degree in intellectual property law or equivalent legal training
- Proven expertise in trademark and design law within an international environment
- Native fluency in French or German with excellent proficiency in the other language; advanced written and spoken English
- Strong collaborative mindset with demonstrated loyalty, availability, and sense of responsibility
- Exceptional attention to detail, independence, responsiveness, and analytical capability

Experience
Several years of professional experience in trademark and design protection, preferably within an international corporate environment or specialized IP practice.
Education
University degree in law or higher education in business/law (HEG equivalent); specialized training or certification in intellectual property law preferred.
