Swatch Group seeks a Store Manager in Barcelona (Rambla de Cataluña) to lead boutique operations, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead all store operations at the Barcelona boutique to achieve sales targets, margin and KPI objectives while protecting brand standards.
  • Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing retail team; set schedules, conduct performance reviews and foster a client-centric sales culture.
  • Own day-to-day P&L awareness: manage inventory, stock replenishment, visual merchandising and expense control to maximise profitability.
  • Deliver exemplary client service and after-sales care, liaising with the brand’s service centres for repairs and warranties.
  • Implement regional and global commercial initiatives, promotional calendars and merchandising directives while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.
  • Maintain loss-prevention controls, audit readiness and operational excellence across store processes and documentation.
  • Prepare regular sales and operational reports for regional management and contribute market feedback to merchandising and wholesale teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of store management with full P&L accountability — typically 3+ years in retail management, preferably in watches, jewellery or luxury goods.
  • Demonstrated leadership in recruitment, coaching and performance management of multi-disciplinary retail teams.
  • Commercially astute with strong knowledge of retail KPIs, inventory management and visual merchandising standards.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to operational detail and familiarity with boutique-level clienteling practices.
  • Legal right to work in Spain and availability to work flexible hours including weekends and peak retail periods.

Experience

Minimum three years of progressive retail management experience with responsibility for sales targets, team leadership and store operations; experience in watches, jewellery or luxury fashion strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
