Senior SAP SD/MM Business Analyst role at Swatch Group's Toronto office. Lead supply chain and sales system optimization for a world-leading watch manufacturer.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimize SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules to align with business requirements
- Conduct requirements gathering and gap analysis with stakeholders across sales, supply chain, and warehouse operations
- Develop functional specifications and process documentation for system enhancements and new implementations
- Support testing phases including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Provide subject matter expertise on sales processes, inventory management, and logistics workflows
- Collaborate with IT teams and external SAP consultants to troubleshoot complex business process issues
- Train end-users and create technical documentation for system changes and new functionalities
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP SD and/or MM module experience
- Proven expertise in configuring SAP sales, distribution, materials management, and inventory management processes
- Strong understanding of supply chain workflows, demand planning, and procurement cycles
- Experience with SAP implementation projects or significant system upgrades
- Knowledge of master data management and SAP data structures
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience working with SAP SD and MM modules in a manufacturing, supply chain, or retail environment. Prior experience supporting ERP system implementations or major system upgrades is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success translating complex business requirements into system configurations and solutions.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience demonstrating advanced knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems and business process management.
