Swatch Group seeks a Senior SAP FICO Business Analyst in Toronto to lead financial systems optimization and SAP implementation across the global watch manufacturer.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and documentation of financial and controlling business processes across the Swatch Group's global operations
- Design and configure SAP FI/CO modules to support accounting, reporting, cost controlling, and profitability analysis workflows
- Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external system integrators to implement and optimize SAP solutions
- Develop and maintain financial system specifications, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and management accounting
- Conduct gap analysis between current business processes and SAP capabilities, recommending solutions that balance operational efficiency and compliance requirements
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation optimization to ensure quality and adoption
- Provide technical guidance on SAP FICO configuration best practices and troubleshoot complex system issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in SAP FICO implementation, configuration, or business analysis
- Deep functional expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configuration, data migration, and customization
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting enterprise-scale SAP implementations or upgrades
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, GAAP/IFRS standards, and management accounting methodologies
- Proficiency in SAP configuration tools such as IMG (Implementation Guide), ABAP basics, and SAP reporting tools (BEx, Crystal Reports, or equivalent)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global, matrix organizational environment
Skills
Experience
7–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO environments, including at least 2–3 implementations or major optimization projects. Preferred experience within manufacturing, consumer goods, or luxury retail sectors. Demonstrated track record of successfully managing stakeholder relationships and delivering projects on time and within scope.
Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information systems, or a related discipline. SAP certification in FICO modules (e.g. SAP Certified Associate – Financial Accounting with SAP ERP 6.0) is highly preferred.
