Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain SAP solutions across the landscape with emphasis on ABAP and S/4HANA technologies.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and deliver high‑quality, performant code following enterprise standards.
- Lead technical aspects of SAP implementations and upgrades, including code remediation during S/4HANA migrations or platform consolidations.
- Develop and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and UIs, integrating them with back‑end services (OData, RFC, BAPI).
- Implement and troubleshoot interfaces (IDoc, RFC, ALE, web services) and integrations with third‑party systems.
- Perform unit, integration and performance testing; participate in user acceptance testing and deployment activities.
- Conduct code reviews, define technical best practices, and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business process owners and global IT teams to ensure solutions meet manufacturing, logistics and retail requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in ABAP development and modern ABAP paradigms.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
- Practical experience building SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and consuming/ exposing OData services.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, ALE, web services).
- Solid troubleshooting, performance tuning and code optimization skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional international teams.
- SAP certification (ABAP, S/4HANA) preferred but not mandatory.

Typically 5+ years of SAP development experience with multiple full lifecycle implementations or major upgrade projects; experience in manufacturing, logistics or retail environments is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
