Senior Purchaser position at The Swatch Group Research and Development in Marin-Epagnier, Switzerland. Full-time role in procurement and supplier management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and actively contribute to investment file preparation and follow-up, including negotiation of specific terms, conditions, and equipment procurement specifications
  • Monitor and manage payment conditions for investments, including bank guarantee administration
  • Document procurement flows and drive continuous improvement of purchasing procedures and documentation, including general and specific terms and conditions, supplier relationship management, and vendor onboarding
  • Evaluate suppliers and analyze purchase orders
  • Establish and configure vendors in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Control and validate purchase orders and process purchase order confirmations
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests
  • Process and categorize communications from the ASU-Purchasing inbox and manage electronic documentation

Qualifications

  • Federal diploma or certification in Procurement Specialist
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Fluency in French (primary working language) and English, both written and oral
  • German language skills preferred
  • Reliability, organizational acumen, and structured approach with strong team collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously with high sense of responsibility and initiative
  • Clear, pleasant, and open communication style
  • Proactive mindset with comfort in process review activities
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong prioritization and deadline adherence
  • Excellent report writing skills in French and English
