Swatch Group seeks Senior Legal Counsel for Brand Protection & IP Enforcement in Biel, Switzerland. 100% full-time role specializing in intellectual property protection.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand protection and online IP enforcement strategies across the Swatch Group's 16 watchmaking brands
- Oversee digital enforcement actions, including domain disputes, counterfeit takedowns, and online marketplace violations
- Provide specialized legal counsel on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, design patents, and brand infringement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, brand teams, and external enforcement partners to identify and mitigate IP risks
- Manage investigations into counterfeiting and unauthorized use of the group's intellectual property
- Represent the group in IP-related disputes and proceedings before regulatory bodies and enforcement authorities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in intellectual property law or equivalent legal qualification
- Minimum 7–10 years of specialized experience in brand protection and/or IP enforcement
- Demonstrated expertise in digital and online IP enforcement
- Strong understanding of intangible asset protection and commercial law
- Track record of managing complex IP litigation or enforcement campaigns

7–10 years of specialized professional experience in intellectual property law, brand protection, and online enforcement. Candidates with track records managing multi-jurisdictional IP portfolios and enforcement campaigns are particularly valued.
Education
