Swatch Group seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to strengthen its legal department, focusing on intellectual property protection, anti-counterfeiting and the grey market. The role advises subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, manages complex multilingual legal projects and proceedings, and collaborates with stakeholders across all levels; workload: 100%.
Role & Responsibilities
- Advise and assist subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad on the protection of intellectual property rights.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of digital technologies, intellectual property law and IP litigation.
- Manage complex legal projects in multiple languages and independently develop creative solutions.
- Assess legal and commercial relationships and quickly evaluate opportunities and risks.
- Lead proceedings in collaboration with external counsel in Switzerland and abroad when required.
- Collaborate with colleagues at all hierarchical levels, acting as a sparring partner.
Qualifications
- Swiss bar qualification or equivalent legal education.
- Very strong knowledge of intellectual property law.
- Several years of professional experience in commercial advisory work at a company or law firm.
- Fluent spoken and written German, French and English, with the ability to handle legal texts and conduct negotiations in these languages.
- Perseverance, negotiation skills and a positive approach to work.
- Interest in technical topics and curiosity about new fields.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to high-quality service.
