Swatch Group seeks a Senior Datacenter Cloud Network and Security Engineer in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland to lead hybrid cloud, network and security infrastructure.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and operate resilient datacenter and hybrid-cloud network architectures including routing, switching, load balancing and SD‑WAN.
- Define and implement network security controls: firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, segmentation and secure remote access for global sites and cloud environments.
- Manage network and security infrastructure lifecycle: configuration, patching, capacity planning, performance tuning and incident resolution.
- Lead cloud connectivity and hybrid integration projects (VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, transit architectures) and ensure secure, high-availability designs.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and security policy enforcement using IaC and orchestration tools.
- Operate monitoring, logging and SIEM solutions; investigate security incidents and participate in root-cause analysis and post-incident remediation.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and network/security standards; enforce compliance with corporate policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, provide technical leadership in global rollouts and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, (or cloud equivalents) highly desirable.
- Proven track record in designing and operating enterprise datacenter and cloud networks with demonstrable security responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, WAN technologies and network security best practices.
- Fluent English; additional knowledge of German or French is advantageous (preferred, not mandatory).

Senior-level experience designing, implementing and operating enterprise datacenter, cloud networking and security solutions; typically 5+ years in network/security engineering with hands-on responsibility for global infrastructures and incident handling.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications preferred.
