Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a secure environment for clients, employees and merchandise at the New Bond Street boutique through active patrolling and CCTV monitoring.
  • Operate access-control systems, manage deliveries and verify identities for authorised personnel and contractors.
  • Detect, deter and respond to theft, suspicious activity and security breaches; perform incident containment and preserve evidence.
  • Prepare clear, timely incident reports and liaise with store management, corporate security and local authorities as required.
  • Lead or assist in emergency response procedures, including evacuation, fire safety actions and first-aid until emergency services arrive.
  • Deliver discreet, client-focused service consistent with luxury retail standards while enforcing store policies and loss-prevention protocols.
  • Coordinate daily with visual merchandising and operations teams to safeguard high-value displays and merchandise movements.

Qualifications

  • Valid SIA licence for door supervision or security guarding (UK) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo background/criminal-record checks.
  • Demonstrable experience in retail or corporate security, preferably within a luxury or high-value environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, professional appearance and the ability to interact tactfully with high-net-worth clients.
  • Availability to work a retail shift pattern including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.

Experience
