Swatch Group seeks SAP Basis Administrator in Toronto to manage enterprise systems infrastructure supporting global watchmaking operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage SAP system landscape, including installation, configuration, and upgrades across development, testing, and production environments
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks to ensure optimal availability and responsiveness
- Administer user access controls, security permissions, and authentication protocols
- Perform routine database maintenance, backup and recovery operations, and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide second-level support to end users and application teams
- Document system configurations, procedures, and changes in accordance with governance standards
- Collaborate with application teams and IT stakeholders to implement system enhancements and resolve infrastructure challenges
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in SAP Basis administration across multiple system landscapes
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and database management systems
- Experience with SAP technical modules including transport management, user administration, and security
- Proficiency in backup and recovery procedures, system monitoring tools, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Basis security best practices and compliance requirements
