Swatch Group — Deauville: Sales Associate (35h fixed-term contract, 02 May–31 May 2026).
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, client-focused sales and advisory service to retail customers in accordance with Swatch brand standards.
- Achieve daily and weekly sales targets through proactive client engagement and product suggestion.
- Operate the point-of-sale system: process sales, exchanges and returns accurately and securely.
- Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation to prescribed planograms and seasonal directives.
- Receive, unpack and stock merchandise; assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Support store opening and closing procedures, cash reconciliation and basic administrative tasks.
- Escalate customer requests and after-sales issues to store management and follow up to resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company loss-prevention, safety and hygiene policies.
Qualifications
- Available to work a fixed-term contract (CDD) of 35 hours per week from 02 May to 31 May 2026.
- Right to work in France for the duration of the contract.
- Flexible availability including weekends and peak retail hours.
- Professional demeanour, strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Basic numeracy and accuracy for cash handling and POS transactions.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or customer-facing sales experience is preferred; experience in luxury, watches or accessories is an advantage but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Deauville, Normandy, France, with easy access to Paris.
