Swatch Group seeks a Retail Sales Associate in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Spain — temporary substitution role selling watches and providing client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, personalized service to clients, guiding product selection across the brand portfolio and cultivating long-term customer relationships.
- Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive selling, clienteling and upselling of watches and related accessories.
- Demonstrate authoritative product knowledge about watch movements, features, materials and brand heritage to inform purchase decisions.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions accurately, manage receipts and perform basic cash handling duties.
- Maintain boutique standards for visual merchandising, stock presentation and store cleanliness; assist with inventory counts and replenishment.
- Serve as a temporary substitution for assigned colleague duties, including opening/closing procedures, shift coordination and basic after-sales handling.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably within watches, jewelry or luxury goods; substitutions and seasonal/temporary roles accepted.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset and demonstrable consultative selling ability.
- Legal authorization to work in Spain for the duration of the temporary assignment.
- Professional appearance and the ability to represent premium brand standards at all times.
- Basic numeracy and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Skills
Experience
Preferably 1+ year in retail sales or customer-facing roles; experience with watches, jewelry, or premium accessories is advantageous. Candidates with prior temporary substitution or seasonal retail experience are welcome.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent; vocational training in retail, sales or luxury goods is a plus.
