Swatch Group — Retail Sales Associate (temporary, 35h CDD) in Deauville, France. Fixed-term role from 02.05 to 31.05.2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, personalised customer experience and actively pursue sales targets.
- Advise clients on product features, collections and styling, demonstrating strong product knowledge of Swatch watches and accessories.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS), process transactions and handle cash with accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Maintain boutique presentation standards through visual merchandising, window dressing and housekeeping.
- Receive, unpack and organise stock; assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Support store events, promotional activities and peak trading periods as required.
- Adhere to brand policies, loss-prevention protocols and after-sales procedures.
- Collaborate with the store team to ensure smooth daily operations and shift handovers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or other customer-facing roles; luxury, watches, jewelry or fashion experience is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused disposition.
- High level of reliability, professionalism and presentation consistent with brand standards.
- Numerical accuracy for cash handling and transactions.
- Ability to work a 35-hour weekly schedule including weekends and public holidays as required for retail trade.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or customer-facing sales experience is required; prior experience in watches, jewelry or luxury goods is strongly preferred.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent; vocational training in retail or luxury sales is an advantage.
