Swatch Group Netherlands seeks a Retail Controller in Eindhoven to manage financial operations and performance across retail locations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for retail operations
- Monitor retail performance metrics and conduct variance analysis across store locations
- Develop and implement financial controls and internal audit procedures for retail channels
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Oversee inventory valuation, cost accounting, and profit margin analysis
- Collaborate with retail management teams to optimize store profitability and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in retail financial management or retail controlling (minimum 3-5 years)
- Strong proficiency with financial software and ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling
- Understanding of retail business operations and P&L management
- Knowledge of Dutch accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and tax regulations
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail finance, retail controller roles, or financial management within a multi-location retail environment. Experience with watch or luxury goods retail is advantageous but not required. Familiarity with wholesale and direct-to-consumer retail channels is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or Controller's certification are valued.
