Swatch Group seeks a Retail Controller in Eindhoven to manage retail financial reporting, store P&L and inventory controls. Full-time position with Swatch Group Netherlands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver timely retail financial reporting, including monthly store P&L, margin and KPI analysis for headquarters and retail outlets.
- Lead the monthly close for retail operations: reconciliations, accruals, journal entries and variance explanations versus budget and forecast.
- Develop and maintain budgets and rolling forecasts for stores and the retail network; monitor performance against targets and propose corrective actions.
- Control inventory valuation, stock reconciliations and shrinkage analysis; coordinate stock counts and follow up on discrepancies with store teams.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and compliance in retail accounting processes; support internal and external audits.
- Provide actionable financial insights to commercial, merchandising and store leadership to improve conversion, margin and turnover.
- Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes and systems; design dashboards and ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making.
- Support pricing, promotional and markdown analysis to optimise sell-through and gross margin.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent (HBO/WO).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in financial controlling, preferably within retail, wholesale or luxury goods.
- Proven track record in retail P&L management, budgeting and inventory accounting.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to translate figures into commercial recommendations.
- Fluent Dutch and professional command of English; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience
At least 3 years of progressive experience in financial controlling or retail finance, ideally within retail, wholesale or the luxury sector, with hands-on responsibility for store reporting, budgeting and inventory control.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
