Swatch Group seeks a Property Manager in Neuchâtel, Switzerland to manage the company's local real‑estate portfolio and building operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Neuchâtel property portfolio, ensuring buildings are safe, compliant and well maintained.
- Plan, supervise and coordinate maintenance, repairs and renovation projects with internal teams and external contractors.
- Prepare and control operating budgets, monitor expenditures and produce regular financial and operational reports for central real-estate management.
- Administer leases, service contracts and insurance matters; negotiate and manage vendor agreements and service-levels.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss building regulations, health & safety requirements and company asset-protection policies.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance programs, energy‑efficiency initiatives and long‑term capital improvement planning.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for tenants, internal stakeholders and municipal authorities.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or degree in real-estate management, facility management, construction management or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in property or facilities management with responsibility for maintenance, contracts and budgets.
- Solid knowledge of Swiss building regulations, insurance and health & safety compliance relevant to commercial/residential properties.
- Strong contract negotiation and vendor-management capabilities; experience managing multi‑disciplinary contractors.
- Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to produce clear operational and financial reports.
Skills
Experience
Several years of hands‑on experience managing commercial, mixed‑use or residential properties, including oversight of maintenance programs, contractors and property budgets. Experience within a corporate real‑estate function or with a large asset portfolio is highly desirable.
Education
Diploma or degree in real‑estate/property management, facility or construction management, or equivalent professional experience.
