Swatch Group seeks a Payroll & HR Specialist in Marin-Epagnier, Switzerland to manage Swiss payroll processing, social insurance, and HR data for its Research and Development division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and control Swiss payroll processing to guarantee accuracy, quality, and data compliance
- Administer Swiss social insurance processes including AVS/AI/APG, AC, LPP, family allowances, and accident insurance
- Coordinate with pension funds and other social institutions to ensure proper registration, transfers, and administrative follow-up
- Manage administrative oversight of Swiss work permits including applications, renewals, and status changes
- Conduct pre- and post-payroll processing controls to identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure reliability and regular updating of HR data within the ProConcept system
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain recurring HR reporting and ad hoc analyses
- Monitor and analyze key HR indicators including headcount, absenteeism, turnover, compensation, and payroll costs
- Participate in monthly payroll close-outs and associated financial controls
- Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of HR and payroll processes
- Provide administrative support to the HR team in daily employee file management
- Ensure proper filing, management, and confidentiality of HR documents in compliance with Swiss legal requirements
Qualifications
- Training in Human Resources, Management, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR Payroll role with strong data and reporting orientation
- Confirmed experience in Swiss payroll (mandatory)
- Proficiency with HR/Payroll management software and ability to adapt quickly to new tools (ProConcept knowledge is advantageous)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and complex functions
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to identify, analyze, and resolve HR data and payroll process issues
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- High degree of discretion when handling confidential information
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR Payroll function with a strong data and reporting orientation. Confirmed experience in Swiss payroll is mandatory.
Education
Training in Human Resources, Management, Finance, or a related field.
