Role & Responsibilities
- Process payroll for assigned locations and ensure timely and accurate compensation delivery
- Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax withholding, and benefits enrollment
- Coordinate with external payroll vendors and benefits providers
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare payroll reports and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment tax laws and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion
