Swatch Group seeks Managing Director for I·C·B Ingénieurs Conseils in Neuchâtel, Switzerland to lead patent operations and IP strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the overall strategic vision and operational execution of I·C·B Ingénieurs Conseils en Brevets SA
- Manage the administration and exploitation of the company's extensive patent portfolio comprising several thousand patent families
- Oversee all patent-related matters and IP strategy on behalf of Swatch Group
- Drive business development and ensure alignment with the Swatch Group's broader objectives
- Lead executive team performance and foster organizational excellence
- Represent the company in external stakeholder relationships and board-level engagements
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in executive leadership or managing director roles within technology, IP, or luxury goods sectors
- Proven track record in patent management, intellectual property strategy, or related legal/technical domains
- Strong understanding of watchmaking, horological technology, or advanced manufacturing industries
- Experience managing complex patent portfolios and IP operations at scale
- Bachelor's degree in law, engineering, business administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

10+ years in executive leadership, patent management, or strategic roles within technology, manufacturing, or luxury sectors; demonstrated experience overseeing large-scale IP operations or patent portfolios preferred
Education
Bachelor's degree in law, engineering, business administration, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications in intellectual property law or business administration (MBA, LLM) are advantageous
