Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide pragmatic legal advice across all facets of business law to support the Tissot brand and internal stakeholders.
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, distribution and agency agreements, supply and service contracts, and partnership documentation.
  • Advise on corporate and governance matters, regulatory compliance and risk mitigation across cross‑border operations.
  • Coordinate and manage external counsel on litigation, arbitration and specialised matters; oversee dispute resolution strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, product, marketing and compliance teams to enable projects with clear legal frameworks and timely guidance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate policies, contractual templates and internal training on legal best practice.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in law (Master of Laws, JD or equivalent).
  • Admission to the bar or equivalent in a recognised jurisdiction preferred; eligibility to practise in Switzerland is an asset.
  • Deep knowledge of Swiss commercial and corporate law and proven ability to handle cross‑border legal issues.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and interpersonal skills; capacity to translate legal risk into practical commercial solutions.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion and the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, matrixed international environment.
