Swatch Group Netherlands — HR Officer in Eindhoven. Full‑time HR role supporting employee administration, recruitment and payroll at the Eindhoven HQ.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files, ensuring compliance with Dutch data‑protection requirements and internal confidentiality protocols.
- Support end‑to‑end recruitment activities: draft job adverts, coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications and administer pre‑employment checks.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for retail and head‑office staff, including induction programmes, contract issuance and exit formalities.
- Assist payroll processing by compiling monthly data, liaising with payroll providers and resolving employee queries related to pay and absence.
- Administer employee benefits, leave records and statutory entitlements; act as first point of contact for routine HR queries from managers and staff.
- Maintain and update the HRIS and generate standard HR reports and headcount metrics for the HR Manager and business stakeholders.
- Advise managers on the application of internal HR policies and basic aspects of Dutch employment law; escalate complex cases to senior HR or legal advisers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline, or demonstrable equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of Dutch labour law and statutory employment entitlements.
- Proven ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and professional integrity.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach to HR administration.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in a business environment.
Skills
Experience
Preferably 1–3 years of practical HR experience in an administrative or generalist capacity, ideally within retail, wholesale or a fast‑moving consumer goods environment. Experience working with HRIS systems and payroll processes is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or comparable qualification; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
