Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the treasury department, including cash management, forecasting, and investment activities.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and projections for senior management.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support for professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the luxury goods or retail industry.

Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and treasury management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
