Swatch Group is hiring a Credit Representative in Miami, FL to manage US accounts receivable, credit evaluation and collections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assess customer credit applications and establish appropriate credit limits and payment terms for wholesale and retail accounts in the US market.
- Manage day‑to‑day accounts receivable activities including invoice follow‑up, aging analysis, reconciliations and dispute resolution.
- Drive collections to minimise DSO while maintaining positive commercial relationships with domestic and international customers.
- Monitor client credit risk and proactively recommend changes to limits or terms based on payment behaviour and financial information.
- Collaborate with Sales, Logistics and Legal to resolve billing disputes, escalate delinquent accounts and support contract enforcement.
- Prepare regular credit and AR reports and KPIs for finance leadership; assist with month‑end closing related to receivables.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in credit, collections or accounts receivable within a B2B context (preferred: watch, luxury goods, or retail sectors).
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience performing credit assessments and ageing analysis.
- Proficiency with ERP/finance systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and reconciliation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate payment solutions while preserving client relationships.
- Working knowledge of US accounting practices (GAAP) and basic commercial law relevant to credit and collections.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–5 years of progressive experience in credit management, collections or accounts receivable, preferably within wholesale or luxury retail. Demonstrable track record reducing DSO and managing credit limits for corporate customers.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a closely related discipline preferred.
