Swatch Group (Alcobendas, Spain) seeks a Credit Administrator (temporary, on-site) to manage receivables, credit control and collections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day credit control and accounts receivable operations for Spanish customers, including invoice posting and account reconciliations.
- Assess and process customer credit applications; maintain and update credit limits in accordance with company policy.
- Monitor receivables ageing, prepare weekly/monthly ageing reports and escalate overdue balances to collections when required.
- Liaise with sales, logistics and finance teams to resolve disputes, short-pays and deductions to accelerate cash collection.
- Prepare credit notes, adjustments and refunds in compliance with internal controls and local tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Support month-end closing tasks related to receivables and provide ad-hoc analysis for management reporting.
- Contribute to process-improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline preferred.
- 1–3 years of proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable or collections; experience in manufacturing, distribution or retail is advantageous.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for reconciliations and reporting; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of invoicing, credit note processing and basic Spanish commercial/tax rules.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and Spanish-speaking clients.
- Availability to work 100% on-site at the Alcobendas office for the duration of the temporary assignment.

Experience
Minimum 1–3 years in credit control, accounts receivable or collections functions, preferably within manufacturing, distribution or retail environments; prior exposure to ERP systems and month-end processes is expected.
Education
Vocational diploma or university degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
