Role & Responsibilities
- Produce timely management and statutory reporting, including month-end close, consolidation and variance explanations for business leaders.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and rolling‑forecast processes; translate commercial drivers into financial plans and metrics.
- Act as the primary finance business partner to commercial and operational teams, providing commercial analysis, margin and KPI monitoring to inform decisions.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure compliance and accurate financial records.
- Drive improvements in financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and reporting quality; support system implementations and data reconciliations.
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors and respond to ad hoc financial information requests from stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline; professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
- Proven ability to produce management reporting, forecasts and variance analyses with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience engaging as a finance business partner with commercial teams and senior stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and internal control frameworks relevant to a multi‑brand retail/manufacturing environment.
- Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Mid to senior level: typically 3–7 years of progressive experience in financial controlling, management reporting or finance business partnering, ideally within retail, consumer goods, manufacturing or other commercial finance environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; professional accounting qualification preferred.
