Swatch Group in Salzburg seeks a full‑time Boutique Manager to lead boutique operations, sales and team performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day boutique operations to ensure exemplary customer service and adherence to brand standards.
- Drive sales performance against targets and KPIs through coaching, merchandising and promotional execution.
- Recruit, train and develop boutique staff, fostering a high‑performance, client‑focused team culture.
- Manage inventory, stock replenishment and loss‑prevention procedures in coordination with regional logistics.
- Implement visual merchandising guidelines and maintain boutique presentation to corporate specifications.
- Oversee cash handling, point‑of‑sale operations and daily financial reconciliations; prepare regular sales and performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations and after‑sales service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven managerial experience in luxury retail, ideally within watches, jewelry or premium accessories.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and managing retail KPIs.
- Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Operational competence in inventory control, cash management and loss prevention.
- High standards of visual merchandising and boutique presentation.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of progressive retail management experience, preferably in the luxury watch, jewelry or fashion sectors; experience managing standalone boutiques or flagship stores is strongly preferred.
Education
Vocational diploma or bachelor's degree in business, retail management, hospitality or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience and industry apprenticeships will be considered.
