Swatch Group is hiring a Boutique Manager in Salzburg, Austria — lead a luxury watch boutique and drive sales, team development and guest experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day boutique operations to ensure exemplary client experience and adherence to brand standards.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive clienteling, targeted outreach and personalised service.
  • Recruit, coach and develop boutique team members; conduct regular performance reviews and training.
  • Manage inventory, stock replenishment and loss-prevention procedures in coordination with regional supply chain.
  • Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain presentation standards for product displays.
  • Oversee administrative duties including sales reporting, KPI analysis, scheduling and cash reconciliation.
  • Coordinate after-sales service and warranty workflows with technical teams and regional service centres.
  • Plan and execute client events, product launches and local marketing initiatives to drive footfall and brand loyalty.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury retail, preferably in watches or jewellery, with demonstrated sales leadership.
  • Prior experience managing a retail team, including hiring, coaching and performance management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with measurable experience delivering sales targets and managing store P&L.
  • Excellent interpersonal and clienteling skills; ability to cultivate long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients.
  • Professional proficiency in German and strong business-level English (spoken and written).

Experience

Degree or diploma in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality or equivalent professional retail certification; industry apprenticeship or vocational qualification accepted.
