Swatch Group (Breguet & Blancpain) seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager in Salzburg. Lead sales, client relations and boutique operations for haute horlogerie maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as second-in-command for boutique operations, deputising for the Boutique Manager in sales, administration and team leadership.
- Drive and exceed boutique sales targets through coaching, performance management and active selling.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships using personalised clienteling strategies and CRM tools.
- Ensure impeccable boutique presentation and visual merchandising in line with Breguet and Blancpain brand standards.
- Manage stock control, inventory audits, receiving and transfers while minimising shrinkage.
- Prepare staff rosters, lead training initiatives and maintain a high standard of customer service delivery.
- Coordinate local events, VIP appointments and cross-brand activations to strengthen brand presence.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures and local retail regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail, ideally within watches, jewellery or premium accessories.
- Demonstrable supervisory experience with a track record of coaching teams to achieve sales targets.
- Strong clienteling aptitude and experience using CRM and POS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident representing haute horlogerie marques to discerning clients.
- Organisational competence in stock management, visual merchandising and boutique administration.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and local events.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in luxury retail with at least 1 year in a supervisory or deputy-manager role; prior exposure to premium watch brands or jewellery retail preferred.
Education
Vocational diploma or equivalent; formal retail or management training desirable.
