Swatch Group Services seeks experienced Applications Manager in Bienne, Switzerland to manage application portfolio and IT service delivery.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage portfolio of applications as service owner, overseeing access, invoicing, licenses, monitoring, resources, roles, and security
- Coordinate delivery of services to business and ensure IT Service continuity and availability
- Organize and provide technical implementations for all lifecycle changes
- Provide level 2 and 3 technical support for assigned application portfolio
- Manage enhancement and corrective changes according to application lifecycle requirements
- Support new application deployment, infrastructure migration, and system upgrade projects from planning through execution
- Work closely with customers to define requirements, set expectations, and establish SLAs
- Provide and maintain comprehensive end-user and technical documentation
Qualifications
- IT technical degree (ES/HF) or equivalent qualification in Computer Science
- 3 to 5 years of confirmed work experience with application lifecycle management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international environment
- Solution-oriented mindset with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Team-oriented with customer and service-focused approach
- Good understanding of standard IT methodology, techniques, and procedures
- Knowledge of IT marketplace and technologies including cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments
- Understanding of security policies (GDPR), contract management, and SLA principles
Skills
Experience
3 to 5 years of related work experience with application lifecycle management. Work experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in managing both cloud and on-premises applications within a service delivery context.
Education
IT technical degree (ES/HF – Ecole Supérieure or Haute Formation) or equivalent qualification in Computer Science.
