The Applications Manager at Swatch Group Services manages the application portfolio and lifecycle, coordinates IT service delivery and continuity, provides Level 2 and 3 support, and supports deployments and migrations. The role is based in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland; no contract terms are stated.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the application portfolio as service owner.
- Manage cloud and/or on-premises applications, including access, invoicing, licences, monitoring, resources, roles, security and updates.
- Coordinate service delivery to the business and ensure IT service continuity.
- Organize and deliver technical implementations for lifecycle changes.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support.
- Manage enhancements and corrective changes in line with application lifecycles.
- Support new application deployments, infrastructure migrations and upgrade projects.
- Work closely with customers to define requirements and set expectations.
- Provide and maintain end-user and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
- Autonomy in organizing work and setting priorities.
- Solution-oriented approach, with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork and a service- and customer-oriented mindset.
- Good understanding of standard methodologies, techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of IT markets and technologies, including cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments.
- Familiarity with SQL and/or PowerShell.
- Understanding of security policies, including GDPR, contract management and SLA principles.
- Experience with document management systems, including Confluence and SharePoint.
- Experience with Microsoft and/or Linux environments is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and French; German is an advantage, and other languages are welcome.

Experience
3 to 5 years of related work experience in application lifecycle management; industry experience preferred.
Education
IT technical degree (ES/HF) or equivalent qualification in Computer Science.
