Role & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, disassemble, repair and reassemble mechanical and quartz watches in the after‑sales workshop according to maison quality standards.
  • Perform complete servicing and overhauls of movements, including replacement of worn parts, lubrication, regulation and timing adjustments.
  • Execute case and bracelet refurbishment tasks (polishing, brushing) and manage water‑resistance testing and sealing procedures.
  • Use precision test equipment (timing machines, pressure testers, ultrasonic cleaners) to validate repairs and ensure final quality control.
  • Document repairs and service actions accurately in the workshop system; identify and request spare parts from inventory or suppliers.
  • Collaborate with customer service advisors to clarify technical issues, warranty scope and estimated turnaround times.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in watchmaking (CAP/BEP, BTS Horlogerie, WOSTEP or equivalent) or equivalent professional training.
  • Proven experience in after‑sales watch repair or an accredited service centre environment (typically 2+ years).
  • Thorough knowledge of mechanical and quartz movements, escapements, and basic electronics for watch modules.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, visual acuity and attention to micro‑mechanical detail.
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to strict quality procedures and turnaround deadlines.
