Swatch seeks a General Manager for its Times Square flagship in New York, NY to lead sales, operations and the store team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all commercial activity for the Times Square flagship: achieve sales targets, margin objectives and KPIs while owning the store P&L.
- Recruit, develop and motivate a high-performing retail team; set objectives, deliver coaching and manage succession for front-line and supervisory roles.
- Oversee daily store operations including customer service standards, clienteling, stock management, merchandising and loss-prevention protocols.
- Ensure brand-consistent visual merchandising, product presentation and guest experience across all touchpoints in the flagship environment.
- Coordinate local marketing, VIP events and experiential activations in collaboration with regional marketing and headquarters.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, store administration and compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison between the store and regional/head office stakeholders, communicating performance, market feedback and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury or premium retail management, ideally with flagship or high-traffic store experience.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, sales forecasting and KPI delivery.
- Strong leadership history with experience recruiting, coaching and developing sales teams in a high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising standards and operations for a brand-driven flagship retail environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, loss prevention) and executing local events or activations.

Experience
Typically requires substantial retail experience, generally 6–10+ years in retail with several years in progressively senior store leadership roles; prior experience in watches, jewelry or luxury accessories preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, hospitality, or a related discipline preferred but not mandatory; equivalent retail leadership experience accepted.
