Swatch Group Malaysia is hiring a Field Operations Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead retail operations and store standards across the region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate operational activities across Swatch retail outlets in the assigned territory to ensure consistent brand standards, visual merchandising and customer experience.
- Drive store performance through KPI monitoring, sales analysis, action plans and regular business reviews with store managers.
- Implement commercial initiatives, product launches and promotional rollouts in collaboration with merchandising, marketing and regional teams.
- Coach, develop and audit store management teams on service protocols, selling techniques, inventory control and loss-prevention procedures.
- Oversee operational compliance including stock reconciliation, cash handling, store opening/closing procedures and safety standards.
- Manage regional scheduling, store visits and field audits; prioritise resources to optimise coverage and commercial impact.
- Act as the escalation point for customer issues and complex operational incidents, liaising with after-sales and warranty services where required.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (HR, logistics, visual merchandising) to support recruitment, training and in-store execution.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership capability with strong people management and coaching skills.
- Commercially astute with experience translating sales data into targeted operational improvements.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail in processes such as inventory control and cash management.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours to support store operations and events.
Experience
Typically requires 5+ years in retail operations, including multi‑site or field management experience; experience within watches, luxury goods or premium retail strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
