Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across multiple retail locations to achieve sales and productivity targets
  • Analyze performance metrics and develop strategies to drive commercial growth and operational efficiency
  • Ensure visual merchandising and operational standards are consistently applied across all stores
  • Conduct regular store visits to coach store managers, review performance metrics, and provide strategic support
  • Support store openings, relocations, and closures to ensure seamless transitions
  • Monitor labor and operational expenses to optimize profitability and efficiency
  • Provide market insights on competitive landscape, consumer behavior, and retail trends
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence
  • Onboard and mentor new team members to build high-performing store teams
  • Identify skill gaps and create tailored development solutions for continuous improvement
  • Build a strong talent pipeline by identifying and developing high-potential employees for advancement
  • Foster a collaborative, positive work environment that promotes accountability and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Human Resources to support employee engagement, retention, and development initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of multi-store retail leadership experience in a progressive role
  • Proven expertise in training program design and talent development
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and point-of-sale systems
  • Deep understanding of the local Western Canadian retail landscape
  • Availability to travel frequently across the region
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively both independently and collaboratively
