Swatch Paris seeks a Deputy Store Manager for Avenue des Champs-Élysées boutique. Full-time CDI, retail leadership, fluent English C1 required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve commercial sales targets and contribute to boutique revenue growth
  • Welcome, advise, and accompany clients according to Swatch service standards
  • Process transactions and manage cash desk operations in compliance with protocols
  • Execute visual merchandising and stock rotation according to brand guidelines
  • Open and close the store, manage point-of-sale systems and cash reconciliation
  • Conduct weekly bank deposits and cash transfers
  • Deliver premium after-sales service and perform routine watch repairs
  • Resolve customer disputes professionally and ensure compliance with Point of Sale manual
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the retail space and common areas
  • Monitor and reconcile cash discrepancies and address procedural errors
  • Oversee inventory management and conduct regular stock audits
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager on scheduling and operational planning
  • Manage the boutique autonomously during the Store Manager's absence
  • Foster team cohesion by embodying Swatch values and demonstrating exemplary conduct
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate team members
  • Coach and mentor staff on daily performance and professional development
  • Track individual and collective key performance indicators and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with labour law, company policies, and health and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Commercial training or equivalent qualification
  • 2 to 4 years of confirmed experience as a Deputy Retail Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrated interest in horology, jewellery, or selective distribution sectors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and natural leadership ability
  • Results-oriented mindset with a genuine commitment to customer service
  • Strong teamwork orientation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Experience

Commercial training, retail management qualification, or equivalent professional background. Secondary education minimum required.
