Swatch Deputy Store Manager
Swatch is hiring a Deputy Store Manager in Graz, Austria (part-time 30–38.5 hrs) to support store operations and lead the sales team.

Role & Responsibilities
- Act as second-in-command to the Store Manager, overseeing daily store operations in their absence and ensuring consistent execution of brand standards.
- Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPI metrics; support recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
- Maintain visual merchandising and brand presentation, implementing seasonal floor sets and windows to maximise product appeal and conversion.
- Manage cash handling, point-of-sale procedures and end-of-day reconciliations with strict adherence to company policies and loss-prevention measures.
- Control stock movements and inventory accuracy through ordering support, stock counts and reconciliation with the back office.
- Prepare succinct operational and sales reports; liaise with regional management on performance, staffing and store needs.
- Ensure exemplary client service standards, resolve complex customer queries, and cultivate long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience with responsibility for sales and store operations; previous supervisory or assistant-manager experience preferred.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to coach teams and drive performance in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong numeracy and organisational skills, including experience with cash handling and basic stock control procedures.
- Flexibility to work a retail rota including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
- Professional demeanour, high standards of presentation and commitment to delivering premium customer service.
Skills
Experience
Typically requires at least 2 years of retail experience with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or assistant-manager capacity; experience in fashion, watches, jewellery or luxury retail is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education completed; vocational training or a commercial retail apprenticeship is preferred but not mandatory.
