Swatch seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations at CF Rideau Centre in Toronto. Reporting to the Store Manager, the incumbent will drive sales through team motivation and coaching, oversee operational efficiency and inventory management, manage personnel processes, and maintain visual merchandising standards. The role demands moderate physical effort with significant walking and standing, and requires proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coach and motivate the sales team to enhance customer experiences and achieve sales targets while monitoring product knowledge and performance metrics
- Assist in managing store efficiency, inventory control, and addressing inventory discrepancies in accordance with company procedures
- Support recruitment, development, and disciplinary processes, including staff evaluations and development plans
- Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards according to company guidelines
- Uphold workplace safety standards and serve as a role model for company policies and procedures
- Perform cash management and POS system operations with significant focus and accuracy
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in fashion and accessories
- Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience working with POS systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent relationship-building capabilities
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate retail teams

Experience
At least 2 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in the fashion and accessories sectors. Demonstrated success in driving sales performance, managing retail teams, and maintaining operational standards in fast-paced retail environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in retail management, business administration, or related field preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 44,000 to CAD 46,000 per annum.
