Swatch seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its Fairview Mall location in Toronto. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role encompasses comprehensive store operations management, sales team motivation and coaching, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will drive sales through exceptional customer service delivery, mentor retail personnel, oversee inventory control, and uphold Swatch's brand standards while embodying the brand's core competencies of customer focus, drive for results, creativity, problem-solving, humility, integrity, and team-building.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coach sales team to enhance customer experiences and achieve sales targets whilst ensuring comprehensive product knowledge and performance monitoring
- Manage store efficiency, inventory control, and resolution of discrepancies in accordance with company procedures
- Support recruitment, development, and disciplinary processes; contribute to staff evaluations and individual development plans
- Maintain store presentation standards and visual merchandising consistency with brand guidelines
- Uphold workplace safety protocols and serve as a role model for company policies and procedures
- Oversee cash management and POS system operations with appropriate accuracy and focus
Qualifications
- At least 3 years retail leadership experience, preferably in fashion and/or accessories
- Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office
- Experience working with POS systems
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with demonstrated relationship-building ability
- Effective leadership skills to mentor and motivate retail teams
- Ability to maintain flexible availability for opening and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays

Experience
Minimum 3 years of retail leadership experience, preferably within the fashion and/or accessories sector. Demonstrated ability to manage store operations, lead sales teams, and drive performance in a fast-paced retail environment.
Education
No specific educational qualification mandated; however, secondary education or equivalent is typically expected for a management-level retail position.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 44,000 to CAD 48,000 per annum.
