Swatch Assistant Store Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, KPIs and day-to-day commercial performance for the Sherway Gardens boutique.
• Coach, develop and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional client experiences and drive conversion and average transaction value.
• Oversee visual merchandising and maintain brand presentation standards in-store, including window displays and product placement.
• Manage inventory processes: receiving, stock replenishment, cycle counts and shrink prevention procedures.
• Operate and reconcile point-of-sale systems, handle cash procedures and ensure accurate daily reporting.
• Prepare staff schedules, manage labour allocation and ensure adequate coverage for peak trading periods, weekends and holidays.
• Ensure compliance with loss-prevention, health & safety and corporate retail policies; assist with opening/closing duties and store administration.
• Resolve client escalations and maintain strong CRM practices to foster repeat business and client loyalty.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership capability with strong coaching and team-development skills.
• Demonstrated commercial mindset with the ability to drive sales and analyse daily/weekly performance metrics.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with polished client-facing manner suited to a luxury-accessory environment.
• Organisational competence in stock control, scheduling and administrative store routines.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.

Skills

Experience

Minimum two years of retail experience with at least one year in a supervisory or assistant-manager role; prior experience in watches, jewellery or fashion accessories is an asset.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
