Swatch seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its Bondi store in Sydney. Lead team performance, drive sales and embody the bold Swatch brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Champion a customer-first culture and deliver unforgettable brand experiences
- Lead and inspire the retail team through exemplary service and deep product knowledge
- Support the Store Manager in driving sales performance and KPI achievement
- Coach team members regularly, identify development opportunities, and unlock potential
- Monitor selling techniques and provide constructive performance feedback
- Build meaningful customer relationships and skillfully handle escalated concerns
- Support recruitment, interviews, onboarding and comprehensive training of new team members
- Analyse sales and KPI data to identify operational improvement opportunities
- Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards that authentically reflect the Swatch brand
- Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure seamless workflow
- Manage inventory, coordinate stocktakes and maintain accurate records
- Uphold company policies, procedures and Swatch brand standards consistently
- Assist with reporting, administration and regulatory compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or retail leadership capacity
- Strong sales acumen with demonstrated ability to motivate teams toward targets
- Genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Proven coaching and people development capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated and confident in leading by example

Experience
Previous experience in an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or retail leadership role, ideally within watches, jewellery, fashion, lifestyle or premium retail sectors. Demonstrated success in driving sales performance, leading retail teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
