Swatch is recruiting an Assistant Store Manager in Perth (Murray St) to lead retail operations, sales and merchandising for the brand's Murray Street boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, KPI delivery and daily store operations on Murray Street
- Coach, motivate and roster the retail team to maintain high standards of customer service and product knowledge
- Ensure immaculate brand presentation through visual merchandising and adherence to Swatch retail guidelines
- Manage stock control, inventory accuracy, receiving and cycle counts to minimise shrinkage
- Operate point-of-sale systems, oversee cash handling procedures and daily reconciliations
- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints with diplomacy and a focus on client retention
- Lead opening/closing procedures and assume full store responsibility in the manager's absence
- Support local marketing activations and product launches, including team briefings and event execution
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail, ideally within watches, jewellery or premium consumer goods
- Demonstrable retail sales track record with a strong commercial mindset
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills suited to client-facing luxury retail
- Availability to work a flexible roster including weekends, public holidays and peak trading periods
- Legal right to work in Australia
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of frontline retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant management capacity; prior exposure to watches, jewellery or luxury lifestyle retail is highly advantageous.
Education
Secondary school completion (or equivalent). Tertiary qualification in retail, business or hospitality is desirable but not mandatory.
