Swatch seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its Champs-Élysées boutique in Paris. Permanent role supporting store operations and team leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and local KPIs through active leadership of the boutique team.
- Coach, motivate and develop sales advisors to deliver elevated clienteling and a best-in-class customer experience.
- Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS reconciliation and loss-prevention measures.
- Manage merchandise presentation, stock replenishment and inventory controls to ensure visual and operational standards are met.
- Build and maintain client relationships through follow-up, after-sales service coordination and local CRM initiatives.
- Contribute to staff scheduling, recruitment interviews and onboarding; act as the Manager’s deputy during absences.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail, preferably within watches, jewellery or fashion.
- Demonstrable ability to lead a small team and deliver commercial results in a high-traffic boutique environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on clienteling and customer retention.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays in line with boutique trading hours.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of progressive retail experience with a minimum of one year in a supervisory or deputy-manager capacity; experience in watches, jewellery or premium fashion is highly desirable.
Education
Secondary education required; diploma or professional qualification in retail, commerce or hospitality preferred.
