Swatch is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Palermo, Italy. Lead sales, store operations and client service at the Swatch boutique in Palermo.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in driving sales performance, achieving KPIs and maximising store profitability.
- Lead daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, inventory control and loss-prevention measures.
- Coach, motivate and schedule sales staff; deliver ongoing training to ensure high standards of product knowledge and client service.
- Maintain exemplary clienteling practices: develop strong customer relationships, manage after-sales follow-up and maximise repeat business.
- Ensure visual merchandising and brand presentation standards are implemented consistently in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Manage stock replenishment, cycle counts and stock transfers; coordinate with regional supply teams on replenishment and shortages.
- Prepare operational and sales reports for the Store Manager and regional leadership; identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Act as Store Manager in their absence, taking full responsibility for team leadership and store performance.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail (minimum 2 years), preferably within watches, jewellery or luxury fashion.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing KPI-driven teams.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to train and develop sales advisors.
- Excellent customer-service orientation and commercial acumen; polished presentation and client-facing manner.
- Solid numeracy and organisational skills, including experience with inventory control and cash reconciliation.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours including weekends and peak trading periods.

Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail supervisory or assistant manager role, ideally within watches, jewellery or premium fashion; experience leading small teams and delivering consistent sales growth is required.
Education
High-school diploma or equivalent; vocational or tertiary qualification in retail management, business or marketing preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Palermo, Sicily, Italy.
