Swatch is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager for its Times Square location in New York. The candidate will support the Store Manager in directing a cohesive, high-functioning team while driving sales objectives and delivering exceptional customer service in a specialty retail environment. Responsibilities include maintaining visual merchandising standards, developing and motivating staff, protecting company assets, and upholding the brand's reputation through professionalism and enthusiasm.

Role & Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and support store sales objectives
• Perform daily operational activities of specialty retail store management
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to lead and direct store team
• Establish and maintain superior standards of customer service and sales volume
• Maintain visual merchandising standards throughout the store
• Develop, mentor, and motivate staff members; lead by example
• Safeguard the security of cash, inventory, and company assets in accordance with established guidelines
• Represent the Swatch brand through effective communication, enthusiasm, and professional conduct

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an Assistant Manager position, preferably in specialty retail
• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaborative abilities
• Creative problem-solving approach
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced retail environment
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
• Proactive attitude and initiative

Skills

Experience

3–5 years of progressive retail management experience, with demonstrated success in an Assistant Manager role within specialty retail or similar environments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management certification or training is advantageous.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 25 to USD 27 per hour.
