Swatch is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Lucerne store at 100% workload, starting immediately or by agreement. The role supports the Store Manager in organising the store, leading the sales team, advising customers and handling daily retail operations, with flexible scheduling that includes weekends.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure the overall organisation of the store together with the Store Manager.
- Support and motivate the sales team.
- Represent the Store Manager in all matters during their absence.
- Advise customers and sell products offered in the store, including Swatch watches, jewellery and Flik Flak products.
- Provide an excellent customer welcome and service, and ensure product presentation.
- Carry out minor repairs and replace watch straps and batteries.
- Maintain the appearance of the store and displayed merchandise, including windows, fixtures and sales tables.
- Receive, unpack and pack deliveries.
- Operate the cash register and reconcile the till.
- Perform various administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Training in retail.
- Strong sales experience, preferably in the watch or lifestyle sector.
- Leadership experience in a similar position.
- Native German; good English and, if possible, French. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Flexible working hours, including Saturdays and Sundays; the store is open seven days a week.
