Swatch is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Laval, QC (Carrefour Laval) to support retail operations, lead the sales team and uphold brand standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPI objectives through daily coaching and performance management of sales staff.
- Supervise frontline retail operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling and daily cash reconciliation.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training to develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.
- Implement visual merchandising and product presentation directives to maintain brand aesthetic and seasonal floor plans.
- Manage inventory control processes: stock receipts, transfers, cycle counts and shrinkage prevention.
- Deliver outstanding client service and escalate complex clienteling or after-sales issues in accordance with brand policy.
- Assist with local marketing activation, in-store events and collaboration with regional leadership to drive footfall.
- Enforce health & safety, loss-prevention and compliance standards across the boutique.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail, ideally within watches, fashion or luxury accessories.
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of coaching and developing sales teams.
- Demonstrable ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage store P&L levers at the store level.
- Excellent organisational skills with experience in inventory management and visual merchandising.
- Professional demeanour and ability to represent the Swatch brand to a diverse clientele.

Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or assistant-management role within retail; experience in watches, jewellery or high-end fashion preferred.
Education
Secondary school diploma or equivalent required; a post-secondary diploma in retail management, business or a related discipline is preferred.
