Swatch seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Edmonton, AB (West Edmonton Mall) to support retail operations and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, KPIs and store performance objectives for the West Edmonton Mall location.
- Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional client service and to develop product and brand knowledge.
- Manage daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, deposits and reconciliation.
- Oversee merchandising, inventory control and stock replenishment to ensure visual standards and product availability.
- Prepare staff schedules, manage attendance and ensure labour is aligned to business needs and peak periods.
- Ensure compliance with loss-prevention protocols, health & safety standards and corporate retail policies.
- Handle customer escalations and complex enquiries, preserving brand reputation and client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in a retail environment, ideally within watches, luxury accessories or fashion.
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management capabilities, including coaching and performance management.
- Strong numerical aptitude and experience with cash-handling and basic P&L or KPI tracking.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to resolve customer issues professionally.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays to match retail trading hours.

Experience
Typically 2+ years in retail supervisory or assistant-management roles; experience in watches, jewellery or premium fashion retail is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary training in retail, business or hospitality is advantageous.
