Swatch is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Chermside (Brisbane). Lead retail operations, drive sales and deliver exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, driving conversion and increasing average transaction value through coaching and on-floor leadership.
- Lead daily store operations: open/close procedures, cash reconciliations, point-of-sale management and compliance with company policies.
- Coach, motivate and develop sales staff; manage rostering, performance feedback and onboarding of new team members.
- Ensure impeccable visual merchandising and brand presentation, executing product launches and campaign rollouts to brand standards.
- Manage stock integrity: inventory control, receiving, transfers and loss-prevention measures.
- Deliver exceptional client service and after-sales care, resolving escalated customer issues while protecting the brand experience.
- Prepare and submit regular KPI reports and assist with local business planning and promotional execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in retail; prior experience in watches, jewellery or luxury retail strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales KPIs and coaching a sales team to commercial objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-service orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cash handling, POS operations and basic store-level financial controls.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, and legal right to work in Australia.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of hands-on supervisory experience in a retail environment; experience within watches, jewellery or premium/luxury retail is an advantage.
Education
Secondary school completion (high school); vocational or tertiary qualification in retail management, business or a related field preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Chermside, Queensland, Australia, with easy access to Brisbane.
